OCAS Named Waterloo Area Top Employer for Ninth Consecutive Year

Guelph, ON (November 30, 2023) – OCAS, a non-profit shared technology and application service provider for Ontario’s public colleges, has been named one of Waterloo Area’s Top Employers for 2024 by Mediacorp Canada Inc. in their annual editorial competition. This is the ninth consecutive year that OCAS has earned the recognition, which showcases the organization’s continued commitment to providing a supportive and collaborative work environment for all employees.

“We’re honoured to be named one of Waterloo Area’s Top Employers for the ninth time,” said OCAS President and CEO Marc Provencher. “This award reflects one of our organization’s core values – ‘We’re in this together.’ Our remarkable team is not only committed to supporting our college partners and applicants but also one another.”

Now in its seventeenth year, Waterloo Area’s Top Employers recognizes employers from the Kitchener-Waterloo area who lead their industries in offering exceptional workplaces. Employers are evaluated on the same eight criteria as the nationwide Canada’s Top 100 Employers competition: Physical Workplace; Work Atmosphere and Social; Health, Financial, and Family Benefits; Vacation and Time Off; Employee Communications; Performance Management; Training and Skills Development; and Community Involvement.

“Our people are a big part of what makes OCAS an exceptional place to work,” said David Hong, OCAS’ Chief Administrative Officer. “We bring real joy to the work we do. We create moments to celebrate each other and our successes, and we take time to connect as people and as a team.”
